Seventeen years at the machine. One standard.
JDA Machining is owner-run by Josh, a machinist who started on his father's machines at twelve and has spent his life learning every step of the process by hand. When you hire JDA, you work directly with the person who makes your part.
Self-taught, hands-on, and built on the work itself.
Josh learned machining the way it sticks, beside his father, on real machines, starting at twelve years old. Seventeen years later, that hands-on foundation runs through everything JDA builds.
The rest came the same way: self-taught MIG welding at eighteen, TIG welding in 2018, and a decade of fabrication work. Machining, welding, design, and CAD, all learned by doing, refined job after job. There's no layer between the customer and the craft. You talk to the person at the machine.
That's the whole idea behind JDA: quality machined and custom-made parts, built with longevity in mind. Nobody wants to buy something expecting to replace it too soon. Made in America, built to last, and inspected before it ships.
Learning on his father's machines, the foundation for everything since.
Adding fabrication to the skill set, hands-on.
Precision welding on aluminum and stainless for clean, structural joints.
Self-taught across machining, welding, design, and CAD, running CNC milling, turning, fabrication, 3D printing, and laser marking under one roof.
You talk to the maker
No ticket queue, no account manager. The person quoting your job is the person running the machine.
